4 Fonts sake Reptile Resort was established in 2005 as a natural extension of the wildlife rescue and rehabilitation we  were already involved with. Increasing numbers of desperately ill and neglected exotic pets were being  brought to our attention and our object was to provide healthy animals and sound accurate advice on their care to prospective and current owners. In 2006 we opened a store in Brits in order to widen our exposure to the general public. Whilst operating there we became well known for the quality of our service and  animals and for our knowledge in the care and husbandry of exotic species. Our relationship with a top exotic animal veterinarian led to popular bi-yearly clinics at the shop during  which many animals were treated for basic complaints, potential problems were averted and owners were educated on the care of their charges. In the course of our work we became increasingly aware of the need for a good quality, affordable range of products for the basic care of exotic animals. This led to many hours of research, experimentation and  consultation with various manufacturers, veterinarians and owners resulting in the range of products we  have on offer today. In order to extend our product to a larger market, we elected to close the store and  become wholesalers instead, supplying a wider field of pet shops. Although based in the Northwest Province, we supply Pretoria, Johannesburg, the East Rand and as far  afield as the Limpopo province. With the convenience of internet shopping and counter-to-counter courier service we are confident that we will be able to reach many more outlying areas and are currently working on this facility. Never static we are constantly re-evaluating, changing and adding to the range as circumstances dictate. Comments and suggestions are always welcome and we are sensitive to our clients changing needs. We also pride ourselves in offering individual and specialised solutions to clients with unique requirements. To this effect we are available on a 24 hour basis for advice. Above all, we at Reptile resort remain committed to the care and welfare of all animals and proceeds from our sales are donated to various rehabilitation and care institutions countrywide.
